Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 RSX

2000 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 RSX - £45,000

- 1 of only 30 cars produced by Ralliart UK (10 produced in silver)
- 53k miles from new with extensive service history
- Formally owned by Ralliart UK establisher Jon Kirkham

The RSX was developed over the course of 1999 by Ralliart UK to be the ultimate Mitsubishi road car. The RSX received a number of changes including ABS or Anti Yaw Control, Plated Differentials, Quicker Steering Rack, Titanium Turbo Impellers, 30 Extra Spot Welds on the Body Shell, and Recaro SR seats. This made the RSX some 80 kilograms lighter than a standard GSR Evo 6. Only 30 cars would be produced with only 10 being painted in satellite silver.

This car was built in 1999 and first registered in May 2000 where its first owner, a Hong Kong-based lawyer, kept the car for over 14 years. During his ownership, the car was kept in the care of Ralliart/Extreme who installed a number of tasteful upgrades to the car including a Ralliart Three Point Strut Brace, Proflex suspension with external reservoirs, AP six pot brakes, ECUTEK upgrade, HKS 3' exhaust system with Janspeed sports catalytic converter, HKS intake, and an ARP bolt kit. Evo 7 wheels were also fitted to the car after extremely experienced greater airflow into the brakes to help cooling. All these upgrades are documented by Extreme in the extensive history file and Ralliart service booklet. Following the closure of Extreme, the care of the vehicle was entrusted to Roger Clark Motorsport.

The car would then be sold by its first owner to Jon Kirkham, the establisher of Ralliart UK and Co-ordSport (Production World Rally and Asia Pacific Rally Champions). In April 2017, the car was sold to the current owner who has maintained the car since. This RSX has spared no expense, with extensive service history and documented gearbox and suspension rebuilds, the last being in 2013, throughout its life. More recently in September 2020, the car had its cambelt replaced along with a full service.

This presents a rare opportunity to buy one of the first Mitsubishi Evo's, sold new in the UK, which has been maintained throughout its life to Ralliart standards.
