Ford Escort MK2 RS2000 Gp2, actuellement configure comme vehicule d’expo ou pour usage routier mais peut être rouler en VHC avec plusiere modifications.

Carte Gris Français normale a jour, Contrôle Technique fait il ya deux semaines.

CAISSE . 100 % propre , entièrement rénové et prêparee à la spécification complète « GP4 » par spécialistes Anglais en 2007. Stockee en garage depuis. Repeindre intérieur et extérieur dans les couleurs de Eaton Yale/Castrol (Hannu Mikkola) de l’epoque.
La spécification comporte : Gros ailles « Tarmac » et « spoiler » avant Alu , àrceau soudee multipoint en acier T45 (diameter 50mm) avec doubles barres de porte, barres de toit et des bars sur les tourelles suspension AV, montage essieu « 6 Link » (4 links et Watts Linkage ), tourelles des amortisseur rondes , grande tunnel boîte de vitesses, transmission et essieu , emplacement radiateur modifié/découpées pour accepter radiateur GP4, points de levage de bas caisse , protege carter, réservoir essence en Alu et supports de réservoir de huile/carter sec, rails de fixations des ceintures et des sieges soudés dans le plancher , plaque frein à main renforce.
Il ya des portes d’origine parfait, capots en fibre de verre , pare brise neuf, fenêtres plexiglas avec des nouveaux joints, colonne de direction standard et volant « deep-dish » , tableau de bord RS2000, support de batterie dans le coffre , post de roue de secours, 4 jantes « minilite » 7 x 13 pouces. 4 phares « Hella » avec supports alu.

SUSPENSIONNE AV/AR. La train AV et AR sont d’origine RS2000 1977. Amortisseurs AV « gaz » regleable, AR Bilsteins GP4 verticale. Tout les pieces suspension sont reconditionee ou neuf.

ESSIEU AR. Essieu « Atlas » (Capri 3000) avec system 4 link, couron/pinion 3,9:1 et des arbres standard.

MOTEUR . Ford Pinto 2.0L avec le bloc 205, carbu et allumage RS2000, echappement « spaghetti » neuf, gross altenateur,

FORD ESCORT RS 2000 left hand drive.

Currently being used as a show car but could be easily converted to full rally spec.

Ford Escort MK2, fully prepared GP4 shell with standard RS 2000 running gear, engine and 5 speed, type 9 gearbox. In immaculate condition throughout, new Controle Technique (french MOT test) and mostly new or reconditioned parts.

Please note: it is not known if the car was originally an RS 2000 and the logbook does not show what size engine is fitted.

BODYSHELL. 100% rot free, fully refurbished and prepared to full GP4 specification by renowned preparation specialist in 2007. Used on 4 tarmac rallies and stored under cover ever since. Recent expensive full repaint inside and out in the famous Eaton Yale/Castrol (Hannu Mikkola) colour scheme.
Specification includes: tarmac alloy arches and front spoiler, full multipoint weld-in roll cage in T45 material with double door bars (certificate available) roof brace, multiple floor pick-up points and bars through bulkhead to front turrets. 6 point rear axle location (4 link and Watts linkage) and round shock absorber turrets, fully skidded, large gearbox, transmission and axle tunnel, strengthened bulkhead, double skinned front strut plates, modified radiator cut out to accept large radiator, sill jacking points, 15” rear wheel tubs, front wheel arches/bulkhead modified to accept 15” wheels on full lock, Gp4 sumpguard mounts, alloy tank mounting and dry sump tank brackets. Seat rails and seat belt fixings welded into floor, strengthened handbrake plate.
It has immaculate doors, fiberglass boot and bonnet, new laminated screen, full Perspex windows and new rubbers, standard steering column and deep-dish steering wheel, genuine RS2000 instrument panel, alloy fuel tank, battery carrier in boot, double alloy spare wheel post. 4 off 7x13” Minilite alloy wheels and 4 Hella spotlights on quick release brackets.

The car was originally built with a BDG engine and used on a handful of tarmac rallies before a change of plans caused it to be dismantled. It has now been assembled using the running gear from a standard RS 2000 (plus many competition parts as listed below).

The car is registered in France. I have the registration document and current Controle Technique (MOT test) dated August 2019, valid for 2 years.

SUSPENSION. Front: standard cross member (modified to give more negative camber), standard TCA’s, twincam anti roll bar, standard steering rack, RS 2000 struts with GAZ adjustable inserts and 190lbs springs.
Rear: standard RS2000 single leaf springs, turreted shock-absorbers (Bilstiens)

AXLE. Wide Atlas axle with 4 link brackets, turret brackets and spring saddles. The axle has a 3.9 CWP and standard shafts. No LSD fitted.

BRAKES. Standard RS 2000 front brakes (all new) and standard RS 2000 MK2 rear drums. Mechanical handbrake.

ENGINE. Standard 2.0l Pinto on 205 block and RS 2000 Alloy sump, 38 DGAV carburetor with manual choke conversion, new standard Bosch distributor (points/condenser), new 4 branch exhaust manifold, new water pump, just serviced.

GEARBOX. Standard type 9 Sierra ‘box with quickshift lever. Standard clutch.

WHEELS/TYRES: 7” Minilite alloys (4 off) with new 205/60x13 road tyres

INTERIOR. Corbeau Pro-series seats and 6 point harnesses (out of date for competition), 2.5kg hand held fire extinguisher, battery master switch (with external pull cable), co-drivers foot rest, RS 2000 instruments, deep dish suede steering wheel, alloy gear knob. Painted white inside with nice detailed finish.

BOOT: Alloy central mounted petrol tank, dry sump oil tank platform (but no tank), alloy spare wheel post, new battery.

OTHER. Standard RS 2000 wiring loom with professional modifications to suit car, RS2000 quarter bumpers, bonnet/boot pins, 4 x Hella spotlamps on quick-release brackets, new right hand 2-box 2” exhaust system, new poly suspension bushes throughout.

The car is ready to use on the road, for exhibitions or light rally use but it is NOT fully prepared for stage rallies currently. It does NOT have a competition car logbook or FIA paperwork.

The car is in Veron (postcode 89510) central France, 1 hour south of Paris by train or road.
