Porsche 944 Turbo Cup

The Porsche 944 is a passenger car produced by the German automaker Porsche between 1982 and 1991.
The 944 was born as an evolution of 924, based on the aesthetics of the special version 924 Carrera GT. In 1988 the Turbo S was launched, with an improved engine, produced 23'319 copies; of which 1'513 specimens in the special Porsche 944 Turbo Cup designed to be prepared for the single-cup races of the Porsche Cup Trophy, which was a great success in Germany.

Bought new and prepared by the CiBiEmme of Finale Ligure (SV) for the Porsche Cup Trophy Italy, which has never participated.
In 1991 it was bought by Luigi Moreschi Motorsport, with which Luigi Moreschi did only the race of the Sport Club Italia championship in Magione on 10/11/91.
In 1992 it was sold to a bresciano trainer, to be used in only 2 other races of the Italian championship: in Varano on 18/4/98 on the track and Cividale on 9/7/99 uphill with Denny Zardo.
It was then sold to a collector who always kept it only for display.
